Privacy Policy
Effective date · July 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how beatriceschneider.com (the "Site"), operated by Tee Schneider ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects your personal information. It applies to visitors from Canada, the United States, and elsewhere. By using the Site you agree to this Policy.
Who we are
The Site is a professional portfolio about the actor Beatrice Schneider, a minor, and is operated by Tee Schneider, her parent and manager. Tee Schneider is the party responsible for personal information collected through the Site.
What personal information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the Site and its members-only area.
- Account information. When you create a member account, we collect your email address and a password. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider (Supabase) and stored in hashed form — we never see or store your plain-text password.
- Information you send us. If you email us (for example, a press or privacy request), we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
- Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) automatically processes limited technical data such as IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the Site. We do not use analytics or advertising tools to build a profile of you.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, and we do not sell or share your personal information (see our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page).
How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- Create and manage your member account and keep you signed in.
- Provide access to member-only content.
- Respond to your inquiries and requests.
- Maintain the security, integrity, and performance of the Site.
- Comply with legal obligations.
Legal bases and consent
In Canada (PIPEDA), we rely on your consent to collect and use your personal information for the purposes described above; by creating an account or contacting us, you provide that consent. Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, we rely on your consent and on our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Site and performing the service you request. You may withdraw consent at any time (see Your rights below), though doing so may mean we can no longer provide a member account.
How we share information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers that operate the Site on our behalf, under agreements that require them to protect your information and use it only to provide their services to us: Supabase (member account authentication and storage), Cloudflare (hosting, content delivery, and security), and Vimeo (hosting of member-only films, loaded only when you play a video).
- Legal and safety — where required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
International transfers
Our service providers may store or process information on servers located in the United States or other countries. Where required, we take steps to ensure your information receives an appropriate level of protection when transferred outside your country of residence.
Data retention
We keep account information for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, or after a prolonged period of inactivity, we will delete or de-identify your personal information, except where we must retain it to meet legal obligations. Email correspondence is kept only as long as needed to address your request and our records.
Security
We use reputable providers and reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to address any incident appropriately.
Cookies
The Site uses only strictly necessary cookies for login and security, plus third-party cookies from Vimeo if you play embedded video. For details, see our Cookies Policy.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under Canada's PIPEDA and Quebec's Law 25, the EU/UK GDPR, or U.S. state privacy laws such as California's CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your information.
- Withdraw consent to our use of your information.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (in Canada, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada).
To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@beatriceschneider.com. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframes required by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Children's privacy
The Site is about a young performer, but it is a professional portfolio and the members-only area is intended for members of the press, industry professionals, and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a manner that requires verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without appropriate consent, contact us at privacy@beatriceschneider.com and we will delete it.
Third-party links
The Site links to third-party sites (press publications, streaming services, social media). We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their policies before providing them with personal information.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date, and where appropriate we will take additional steps to notify you.
